The Arts

Greenhithe School is well resourced to provide learners with a wide range of arts opportunities. During class, the students explore the elements of music, dance, drama, and visual art. They learn specific skills within the arts that can be applied across the wider curriculum; for example, using drama to explain sun safety as part of health education. We offer a variety of other learning opportunities ranging from learning to play an instrument to joining a school dance group or auditioning for the school band. Each year we alternate with a school production and an art exhibition celebrating our creative talents. All students perform in our ‘Summer Festival’ community event in term 4.
