Rippa Rugby

Rippa rugby is a non-contact version of rugby with both boys and girls playing in both mixed and straight gender teams. Greenhithe School is affiliated to the Massey Module. There are 3 – 4 tournaments in a year. Team practices and all games are in school time. Rippa is offered to Years 3 – 6 children.

Tackle rugby is played at the Massey Module (see above). It is an open weight competition. There is no pushing in the scrum or contesting of lineouts. Each year a decision is made if Greenhithe School enters a team. This solely depends on if we have a Coach who has done their Level One Coaching Rugby Course and enough interested players.​

Uniform/Equipment:                   Greenhithe Sports top, dark shorts. Rips provided by the school.
