Science, Technology, and Social Science

At Greenhithe School, we strive for our learners to become active knowledge seekers, thinkers, and reflectors. All students are engaged in motivational, purposeful, rich, and relevant learning. They learn strategies for thinking, cooperating, researching, and communicating. Students develop the skills to ask questions and the ability to seek the answers to their questions. Our learning is integrated across the curriculum, further strengthening literacy and mathematics skills. Through the learning process, students have opportunities to pursue questions and personal interests in areas such as science, social science, and technology, which includes our STEAM specialist classes. Our Learn to Grow model ensures high motivation and engagement of our learners, as students become empowered in their own personal learning journey.
