Health and Physical Education

At Greenhithe School, students learn to develop positive attitudes about their health and physical well being. Developing resilience is crucial to students learning how to manage themselves in order to make positive choices in life. Students explore the benefits of living in healthy communities. For example, students may develop their own ideas about current issues based around the health and well being of society. This might be portrayed in a dance, or through science investigations.
Students participate each week in physical education and fitness to develop essential skills such as coordination and cooperation, in order to access a variety of sports and games. Greenhithe school has a Sports Coordinator who organises a wide range of team sports and other sporting activities.
